The Ultimate Wallet by Sew So Easy

What advice would you give someone starting this project? Cut 2 pieced of lightweight card stock, 6" x 2.25" and 6" x 1.75" to use as templates when doing the card slots. You can iron straight over them without having to remove them 1st. I got my card slots done in 8 minutes each strip using this method. Also, The tutorial says to measure down 6.25" to trim the coin pocket before assembling, but the PDF says 6", do the 6" or it will be too big for the purse. I also recommend making the notes section a good deal deeper for added security for your paper money.

Q&A with AmazingGrace67

Cheen asked:
where can i find the video tutorial
AmazingGrace67 answered:
Hi Cheen, the link to the video tutorials are at the bottom of page 3 of the PDF file. It's only available to view through the link.
Pretty projects asked:
Does the flap have to be this wide? And how safe are the cards for not slipping out the sides of the wallet?
AmazingGrace67 answered:
No, You can make it to whatever size you like. I wouldn't change the length though. I did find the card slots too wide but running a simple straight stitch on the edge closest to the centre of the wallet on each of the card sections will fix that.
Busy Bird asked:
I bought the pattern for the Ultimate Wallet last year. I am ready to make it now, but I can't find the tutorial for it, I find the written instructions rather vague. I hope I do not need to buy the pattern again to get the tutorial. Can you help me with this?
AmazingGrace67 answered:
Read the tutorial carefully, the link is on page 3 of the pattern. Once you have purchased the pattern you can go to your account on here and download the pattern again. You only need to purchase it once and it's yours forever.
crazypony1783416 asked:
along with the pattern do yall also have a video as well? I find just patterns and written instructions to be confusing most the time. Terry
