Q&A with Cherie Killilea

pakazaiti16628856 asked:
What does the pattern look like?
Cherie Killilea answered:
If you click on the online class preview, you will see many examples of the jacket made from the pattern. There are a ton of projects posted too, so you can get an idea of what the jacket looks like on different people. The pattern itself is a multi-size, tissue pattern, just like you would find with Simplicity etc. It comes with an instruction booklet, but I used the class more than the booklet. I hope that helps!
ajbess asked:
Love your jacket ! How did you determine the amount of fabric needed for each of the different designs?
Cherie Killilea answered:
I had scraps of these fabrics leftover from making slipcovers, so I never did measure how much of each I used. If I were going to plan it out, I would decide which pieces go on which fabric and use the actual pattern pieces to make a cutting layout for myself and physically measure how much I needed. I will probably never do that though. In reality I will do it the same again, assemble my scraps and see which piece fits on what scrap.
