Sew Sturdy Diaper Bag for Elise

This bag is a combination carry-on and diaper bag for my first great-granddaughter, who was born in April, 2018. I used Michael Miller's cute fabric, Sassy Cats, as the main print, with a few other fabrics that picked up the colors of the cats. I used a dark grey for the trim so the bag would have a more modern, sophisticated look, since the baby's parents will be carrying it. Added note: We had my great-granddaughter and her parents over for Thanksgiving and Elise is now 7 months old and crawling. The diaper bag has been in continuous use since she was born and my granddaughter thanked me again for such an amazing bag. This is the second bag I've made with Annie Unrein's pattern and class: "Sew Sturdy: The Ultimate Travel Bag". I love that I have the class permanently and can watch and follow it again and again. Annie is a great teacher!
