My Kennedy Bag

I made this with navy duck cloth, and two other fabrics I thought would sing well together with it. This was my first zipper in 30 years and it went great! My advice? Hand baste in the zipper and don't skimp on interfacing. Even if you trim it out of your seam allowance, it's so important. Go slowly over thick seams and join Sew Sweetness's facebook group if you need more help, they are wonderful there! I used rectangle rings on the sides for connecting the strap, which I made adjustable, and the buckle accents are also rectangle rings. I left off the side buckle accents as I didn't think mine needed it. I love it!
