My Convertible Collar Shirt

What are you most proud of? I've wanted to make one of these shirts ever since I first saw one. I love the wait the contrast color seems spill seamlessly out of the shirt and over the collar. I wanted a shirt that had this characteristic yet still retained the look of a traditional collar with stand. It took several mini muslins to get the look, fit, height, etc., just right, but I think I came pretty close to what I envisioned.

David Page Coffin asked:
And I'm so glad you stuck with the muslin process until you got from it what you wanted from it. Too many of us seem to resist that part, but I think it's where the real magic is most likely to happen:) Great job on matching the plaid, too!
Mike Mpls answered:
Thanks, David. I'm glad I stuck with the muslin process too. It was a lot of work, but having gone through it, I'm certain I would not have achieved a final result that I was pleased with without taking the time to work out some of the less-obvious kinks first.
