What are you most proud of? That the draft muslin worked so well. A woven fabric in a garment that has a front opening would be easier to work with for a first garment, when you aren't sure of what you are doing. Thread tracing the grain line (which I could not see w/o a magnifying light) helped keep me from stretching the knit. The white knit muslin is much heavier and a little less stretchy than the 4-way stretch jade, but surprisingly(!) worked out. Now I'll make the blouse in the 4-way stretch fabric I originally planned to use. What advice would you give someone starting this project? By all means, take this class! Stephanie is a wonderful teacher. She covers every possible scenario and makes it all understandable. I originally signed up because it was on sale, I was bored, and I thought it might be something that I could use someday. Now I can't wait to go through my closet to see what other garments I want to copy. This is so much fun and so empowering! Thanks, Stephanie. I loved it!
