Q&A with Beaverhead Treasures
It is Beautiful!!!! Great sense of accomplishment. Thank you so much for sharing it with everyone and along with all the tips and information. I am seriously thinking about trying it. Ad soon as the class is discounted I am going to take it. You have also inspired me. Where did you purchase the material?
Beaverhead Treasures answered:
The distressed Italian leather came from a wholesale supplier I use in Colorado. It wouldn't work on a regular sewing machine because it is a much heavier and thicker than the leather weight (1-2 oz.) that Don recommends in his class. You can get some leather priced $3-$4 a square foot from the www.leatherhidestore.com. This company also has an ebay store called stores.ebay.com/Kyson-Leather. If you take Don's class, he also gives you a 10% discount on any leather purchases from this company.
Beautifully beautifully executed. Good luck with your business. You should do well.
