Q&A with Pam Howard

cre8dezines asked:
Wow! Great choice of fabric and color for the design! How difficult was it to keep the front placket stable and smooth with it being off grain? Did you use a lightweight interfacing to accomplish that? Is there a Burda pattern # for the shirt? Thank you!
Pam Howard answered:
Hi. I edited the info above to include that pattern # and issue it came from. I hope that you are able to get a copy.
wimmie asked:
Hi Pam. Wanted to let you know that I bought all of your classes through Craftsy. I think you are a wonderful teacher. Now I need to just find time to look at my classes. Pam I have looked everywhere and can’t find the pattern number or book issue number for your asymmetrical blouse. I am also interested in pattern info for the one with the horizontal seams. Thank you so much and hope you will favor us with more classes soon. Wilma B.
Pam Howard answered:
Hi, and thank you so much!! You may need to check Etsy to see if anyone has that Burda issue to sell. I find all kinds of wonderful patterns in the older issues. The one with the horizontal seams came from the July 2012 issue, if my memory serves. I did change the lower part of the sleeve to add the tower placket on that one :-) Good luck with your search, I hope that you are able to find them!
wimmie asked:
Thank you for your quick response, but the edit you did on the asymmetrical blouse is the info I can't find. what is the number of and month/year of the burda book so that I can look it up in etsy? Thanks again..... Wilma
Pam Howard answered:
Hi, this shirt was from the 6/2007 BurdaStyle magazine and is #111 and #112 (cap sleeve version) I hope that you can locate it :-)
wimmie asked:
Thank you so much. Wilma
Pam Howard answered:
You are very welcome!! I hope you find it :-)
