Child's Coat - Special Lining!

Burdastyle 11/2016 #138 Child's Bubble Coat made from tweedy mauve wool. Used *all* stash and child chose the floral lining for the back. Kept the front lining silky and solid so it would match more things but the floral is so fun in the back! Added large inside lining pocket with embroidered pick stitch hem to hold mittens and stuffie. Buttons backed. Metal snaps covered by same pink silky lining. 1" ease pleat in upper back lining. Winged the skirt lining ease and made two pleats at upper skirt and tapered to hemline, tacking it down with an embroidered featherstitch. Based on class, was convinced to hand stitch the hem and sleeve hem. Pretty easy and now I have much greater confidence doing a fell stitch which is pretty darn useful! Hangtag per class. Very useful class!
