Pattern Details

Looking for a new holiday bag, I was having difficulty in finding a tote with zips and pockets. Having had a go at making a few bags, I decided I would 'design' my own. This bag fits the bill for me and I wanted to share it with the crafting world. It has an outer zip pocket to hold passports and tickets, an inner zip pocket and an open pocket for easy access items. An inner tab to clip your key ring to and a zip for security. . The bag is designed to be worn over the shoilder, but is not too long so you can hold it close to your body. As this is my first pattern to 'go live', it is free. Feedback is welcome, positive or negative. I hope you like making it! Before you start you will need: 2 x 6” closed end zip 1 x 12” closed end zip 1m outer craft fabric 1m inner craft fabric 1m light weight fusible interfacing 1m fusible padded interfacing Cotton, scissors, and general sewing requirements Please also feel free to contact me should you need any help in cinstructing the bag, or, if you would like me to make one for you.

My name is Sarah, and with my dog Ripley, we sew and knit. To be honest, Ripley just watches but, getting out and about with him does give inspiration. As a child I was always doodling drawings of what I wanted to wear but could not find in shops - then asking my mum to make them. I stopped being creative for some time, work and life got in the way. However, finding myself unable to go to work and not willing to sit and do nothing, I learned to knit. From there, I got my confidence back. While new to the craft of knitting and sewing the ideas start as they did when I was a child, only now, I make them, not my mum! If I can't find it in the shops - I will design someting that is 'just right'. It is these patterns I would like to share with you. I hope you like them and enjoy making them. As a newby feedback is always appreciated.
