Supplies needed • Outer fabric ½ yard (50cm) - Medium weight fabric of your choice – Denim and furnishing fabric weights work well. You can use cotton sheeting prints, but add a layer of medium weight fusible interlining to add a bit of substance • Feature Lining ½ yard (50cm) – Quilt weight or decor weight fabric. Use a contrasting print or a striking plain colour. • Lining ½ yard (50cm) – Quilt weight cottons. Use the same as your feature lining as I did here, or a striking plain colour. • Medium fusible interlining ¾ yard (75cm) – I use Vilene F220 • Fusible foam 25 x 13.5” (64x34cm) – I use Bosal one side fusible, which gives the bag a permanent structure and shape. It’s a brilliant product for bag making • 9” Zip – I used a chunky No5 zip, to match or contrasting • 2 x 1” Rectangle rings for attaching the strap to the bag. Choose colour to tie in with your outer and feature lining • 3 yards (3m) of 1”cotton webbing – for shoulder straps. You can use any width you like, just match your rectangle rings and adjuster buckle. • 1 x 1” adjuster buckle to match your rectangle rings
