Pattern Details

This darling little coin purse is about 2 1/2'' wide and 1 3/4'' tall. I call it my 'Milk Carton Coin Purse' because I used plastic cut from a gallon milk carton to make it that cute shape! Use it to carry coins as suggested - they won't fall out as easily as you would think. Or hide a treasure in it and use it to give a gift. Visit my blog to see how to make this in a step-by-step tutorial with photos! I also shared lots of information about fabric choices and what kinds of plastic work well inside the little purse. Find all this and more at: Finished size: about 2 1/2’’ wide and 1 3/4’’ tall.

My name is Caroline and I want to inspire you to sew by showing you something beautiful every day. I have four children and a room full of fabric. Sewing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Since I started having kids most of my sewing is for them and our home. For years now my browser's bookmark files have been filling up with project ideas that I need to try. It's helpful because people often ask me if I know how they can make such-and-such, and I tell them I'll just go home and email you the link to a tutorial. Well, now I get to share those tutorials with anyone who will look (or sign up for my newsletter). If you follow along with us on She Sews! the SewCanShe blog, we'll explore new tricks and techniques and show off our work every Saturday in our linky party.
