Pattern Details

Sew a pretty & practical grocery bag using this simple SEWING PATTERN. These bags are super fast to make and take only an hour or two for those with solid sewing experience. The finished bags are great for groceries, project totes, storage bags, lunch bags, or anytime you need a simple tote for carrying some things around. This bag is: Easy to load - fits on bag holders used by many stores. Easy to carry - wide handles distribute weight. Simple to clean - machine wash & dry. Folds to a nice size - easy to pack inside another bag. Reversible - line in a second fun fabric. Fully lined - looks great and makes the bag twice as sturdy. Durable - double stitched seams & reinforced handles. You will receive instructions with text descriptions and color photos. The pattern piece for the handles is included. Bag body is a square piece you will draw directly on your fabric (dimensions given). BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY: Advanced Beginner - You have completed a few sewing projects, sewn from a pattern before, and/or taken a basic sewing class. APPROXIMATE FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: • Small - 10" x 8.5" x 3.25" (25cm x 22cm x 8.3cm) • Medium - 12" x 10" x 4" (30cm x 25cm x 10cm) • Large - 14” x 11” x 5” (36cm x 28cm x 13cm) SUPPLIES (MATERIALS YOU PROVIDE): Note - Size specific amounts are included on page 1 of instructions. • 1/2 - 1 yard fabric 1 for side 1 • 1/2 - 1 yard fabric 2 for side 2 • 1/2 yard muslin or fusible interfacing (Pellon SF101) • ruler or yardstick • fabric marker or chalk
