This listing is for a .pdf instant download of a plush sewing pattern, made to look like a Griffin, that is the legendary eagle/lion hybrid from Greek myth. The body is a cuter, chubbier version of the original, with a large head, detailed wings, owl-inspired ears, chest feather tuft, and chubby eagle toes. It is sewing pattern with complete instructions to create the plush from start to finish -- including step-by-step photos and a printable pattern. It includes extra info on choosing fabrics, tools to get started, printing your pattern, and cutting your fabric. This project is not recommended for absolute beginners, but I do my best to explain everything in detail for those rogue newbies that want a challenge :) Stretchy plush fabrics are suggested for this pattern, such as fleece or minky. The sample plushes shown are sewn in minky. Items made with this pattern can be used for both personal and commercial use as long as you credit my website, :) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Fusible web applique Sewing tiny pieces Darts Basting Curved sewing Ladder stitch Back stitch Gathering stitch Topstitching SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS One plush: 5" wide, 11" long (14" if you include tail), and 6" tall

Sew Desu Ne?
Sew Desu Ne?
Hello! My name is Choly Knight and I'm a seamstress of over 15 years from Orlando, Florida. I've been sewing since middle school and have yet to put my machine away. I'm the author of several craft books from Fox Chapel Publishing, including Sew Kawaii!, the Sew Me! series, Craft Projects for Minecraft, and more to come! I studied Art and English in college, so it's been a dream come true getting to work in a field that lets me combine my passions for writing, fine art, and craft art. I'm deeply inspired by Asian and Japanese art and craft as well as anime and kawaii style. The anime community has been more supportive than anyone as I ventured to learn to sew, so you'll find my designs are heavily influenced by that style.
