***This is for the PDF Pattern ONLY - Not the finished toy pictured*** *Pattern is an instant Downloadable PDF file (NOT a finished product or kit) This pattern is suitable for a beginner sewer. This pattern and instructions will take you through step by step how to sew this Easter Bunny. It includes full sized templates (on A4 size paper) for the pattern pieces. You will need to download and print off the pattern and cut out the templates. Here is a quick and easy Easter Bunny softie you can make for someone this Easter. A cute and cuddly bunny made using fleece and cotton fabrics, and a little bit of felt too. A great beginners project and the instructions include lots of photos to help you along the way. You can use any kind of fleece fabric (like polar fleece), imitation fur or felt for the main body (I have used a Coral Nursery Fleece for mine). For the beginner I would recommend using Polar Fleece or Felt for the body as some of the other fabrics can be a little tricker to sew with. I have used machine applique using a blanket stitch and also a straight stitch to applique the arms, feet, inner ears and tail. You could also hand sew these on using blanket stitch and straight stitch and 2 strands of embroidery thread. The facial features are hand sewn on using a blanket stitch and straight stitches for the mouth and whiskers. I love sewing and crafts and making things for my kids. I especially love making softie toys and in the last couple of years I have been designing my own softies and writing patterns too. I LOVE fabrics especially the bright fabrics and kids prints. I have also recently started holding sewing classes for kids too - which have been great fun.
