Pattern Details

I'm so excited to share with you this new little clutch bag pattern! I've been loving a whole lot of little bags that I see on Pinterest - especially those that have a zipper compartment on the inside - so I decided to incorporate a little zipper pouch inside this little bag. You can fit an iPhone in the little pocket behind the integrated zipper pouch, and then you'll have a nice sized compartment in front of the zipper pouch for keys, lip gloss, and little notebook. And (of course), fit cards and cash in the zipper pouch. Yay! It's everything you need and nothing you don't. :) For economical printing, these written instructions do not contain photos. Visit my blog post www.sewcanshe.com/blog/clutch-bag-pattern for a complete step by step tutorial with photos. Print the template found on page 5 of this download file at 100% (do not enlarge or reduce). It should be 7’’ wide and 4 1/2’’ tall.

My name is Caroline and I want to inspire you to sew by showing you something beautiful every day. I have four children and a room full of fabric. Sewing has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Since I started having kids most of my sewing is for them and our home. For years now my browser's bookmark files have been filling up with project ideas that I need to try. It's helpful because people often ask me if I know how they can make such-and-such, and I tell them I'll just go home and email you the link to a tutorial. Well, now I get to share those tutorials with anyone who will look (or sign up for my newsletter). If you follow along with us on She Sews! the SewCanShe blog, we'll explore new tricks and techniques and show off our work every Saturday in our linky party.
