Class Overview

Conquer curtain sewing and invigorate your home décor with custom window treatments that capture the decorator-quality look you want! Join drapery expert Susan Woodcock and demystify the internal pieces that will give your window treatments a polished look, so you can create curtains that go beyond great fabric. During class, you’'ll learn about linings and interlinings, so you can pick the type of each that’s best for you. Then, Susan will teach you how to merge layers, with or without a serger, and share popular methods like interlocking and French blackout. Once you’ve tackled your layers, you’ll learn to use welt-cord and weights for curtains that drape neatly, and Susan will demonstrate two easy ways to mount your valance. Plus, get tips for dazzling finishing touches that will style your draperies even further!
