I would like to see instructions for a wrist pin cushion.

Hi, Beverly!
I have a wrist pincushion which I’ve made, and I love it!
It’s a nice suggestion and it would make a cool gift, in my opinion.
Let’s see what we can do.
Stay tuned,

hi there, i have made one with a plastic jar lid about 3″ across. drill a couple of holes in the bottom, about 2″ apart, and thread elastic through to fit your wrist; knot firmly between the two holes at the inside of the lid. cut a circle of pretty fabric about 5″ across and using a strong linen thread, stitch a running stitch about 1/4 inch right around. pull together a bit and stuff the puff firmly with wool, dacron, polyester filler or whatever. check its about the right side for your lid, you want it to sit in there nicely. fasten off your running thread when you have pulled it into the right size. glue your ‘puff’ into the lid using hot glue, or whatever glue you have that is suitable. the lid is important as it saves you from sticking pins into your wrist… i know this! you can also make pincushion rings the same way using plastic milk bottle or pill bottle tops. cheers! sarah

Hi, hl!
They’re intended to hold a pacifier, a bib or a pair of mittens, preventing they fall into the ground.
I hope this helps 🙂

This has been the best creative Labor Day weekend, ever! The class intros offered so many styles of instruction and professionalism to shine through than I thought possible. By hearing and seeing the instructors’ enthusiasm and love for their subject matter, taking some of the courses just moved up on the priority list. Further, the ability to return to them, as needed, made each course that much better.

From award winning craftspeople, to unique and/or much needed expertise, taking one or more of the Craftsy courses becomes a no-brainer. Thanks so much for allowing us to take a sneak peek. A Labor Day treat that’s appreciated.
