Strip City Quilt

This project was relatively easy, although time consuming. Lots of back and forth from the sewing machine to the iron. Make sure you pin a lot to keep all the seams lined up correctly. I ended up using the same quilting pattern that Angela used in the video, and it turned out beautiful. My son loves this quilt.

Q&A with Beth Walls

Bwithmecreations asked:
What colors and Fabrics did you use to make the strip city quilt
Beth Walls answered:
I used a jelly roll of boundless solids easy breezy and 2 yards of boundless solids nickel.
Bwithmecreations asked:
I want originally going to use purple fabric in the strips needed for the strip City but I can’t find a fabric that goes well with the purple Scripps because it calls for a background fabric maybe you can help with finding a fabric that goes well with solid purple strips
Beth Walls answered:
If I remember correctly, the quilt did not use all the strips in the roll. You could pick the darkest or lightest colour, remove that from the roll and buy the yardage in that colour for the background. Otherwise, that nickle grey is pretty neutral and would also look nice.
