Starring My Friends

What are you most proud of? This quilt is a collection of blocks by my friends at the Great American Quilt Factory quilt store in Denver, Colorado. I was thrilled to find a creative way to put them together and get a bed quilt from the project. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun!

Q&A with Ann Petersen

loulou743 asked:
Is this pattern for sale on craftsy, if not is it available anywhere?
Ann Petersen answered:
I made this quilt based on a block exchange by employees of the quilt shop I worked in at the time. They liked it well enough that they did pattern this and included it in the Possibilities book Friends Forever Quilting Together by Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan. It does not include all of the star patterns since some of the blocks were made from other authors patterns, but it does show you how to make a quilt like this. Unfortunately, Possibilities has gone out of business, but the book is often available on EBay or Amazon as a used book.
