Q&A with nancymc52

Lost Arrow Quilter asked:
This is a beautiful quilt! Clearly a project that has taken a lot of time, patience and talent.
nancymc52 answered:
Thank you. I could do it much better the next time with all that I learned, but not sure I will due to the time involved to complete the quilt.
PDK asked:
Did you stitch bias tape by hand or machine. I have never been able to decide which way. Your quilt is beautiful
nancymc52 answered:
I tacked it on by hand and then used satin stitch on the machine. Thanks for the nice comment
Ladybev asked:
This really IS awesome. Is this pattern from this class or did you take this class to be given ideas on how to finish an already made large quilt top? Again, its very striking. Love it!
nancymc52 answered:
The pattern is an old one that seems to be not available any longer. The class I took was for preparing the large quilt for quilting in a domestic machine
kalela69986395831373468 asked:
How do you make the stained glass look? I'm new to quilting and I'm in love with your quilt!!
nancymc52 answered:
I used fusible stabilizer(wonder under or similar) to attach the flower designs to the block. then I appliqu'd 1/4 inch bias tape over all edges ( I made the bias using the clover 1/4 inch bias maker)
