The second, ever, quilt I've made! Using one Boundless Batiks Rainbow jelly roll I was able to make 81 6" squares, sewing them in a rail fence pattern. It made a perfect lap size quilt and I finished it with some fun cocktail-themed backing fabric I had saved (not from Craftsy, sorry!) The quilting was simple lines, either side of the piecing lines and I used some tropical color-changing thread. The batting was polyester - although I find it difficult to work with this gave the quilt a bit of a puffy look and some extra warmth, perfect for nights spent out on the deck, chatting with friends!
