Ode To Matisse

I began designing this in the fall, 2016 and just finished it today, February 25th, 2017. I had almost no experience free motion quilting and so decided to take Christina's class. She is so lovely and has such a nice, kind demeanor that I forgot my fears and practiced many of the FMQ patterns on a queen-sized quilt that I made for my mother. This is the second, bed-sized quilt, that I've ever made. Each "block" has a different FMQ pattern.

Q&A with ArianeZ

mswaters6726153 asked:
Why do you use wool batting???
ArianeZ answered:
I love using wool batting because of its loft. It is also doesn't crease as much as cotton battings!
