  • I used a variety of batik fabrics. Since this was for a young man who is in the construction field I chose fabrics that represented materials that are used in construction such as trees and concrete and dirt colors and textures. The back of the quilt was a modern style using a grey and green grunge fabric

What size is this quilt and size of center square and size of strips. Would like to make this with center square fussy cuts of lake memories ie loon, ducks, cabin boat etc

Hi! Thank you for your comment. The middle square was 3 1/2 inches square. The strips were 2 1/2 inches square. The quilt with borders worked out to be 72 by 80. I think your idea sounds great.
