Laurie's Peacock Plume quilt

Bought the Peacock Plume panel and used Painter's chips jelly roll strips for the border and the back, as well as the binding. The gold is one of the first pieces of fabric I bought when I began quilting 2 years ago. I used it as the background because it brought out the peacock's beak and tail eyes. I doubled over the batting to make it puffier. Overall, I am very pleased with my first finished quilt. Laurie loved it.. It turned out to be 45" x 56" finished.
