This is a scrappy wallhanging that measures 36x48 inches. The technique is improvisational and the spikes are all at different angles. It is finished in a facing binding. The top was inspired by the Improv Spikes tutorial from Debbie Jeske at A Quilter's Table online. It's a great scrap-buster. Before quilting it, I sent a photo to Jacquie Gering for advice. She suggested that I divide the wallhanging into segments and fill them in with straight lines of graduating triangles, large to small. I used Isacord40 thread in color number 0150 (a light gray). I'm so happy with the results!
