Bowtie Candy

A baby quilt. The half square triangle blocks are arranged in rows for a simple bowtie pattern. I free motion quilted an allover swirl design in the middle and custom quilted feathers in the borders. Quilt was designed, cut, pieced and quilted in two days. A great weekend project if you're in a rush!

Hi..its just precious...can you tell me size bow tie pattern you used?
dorseyk19985877 answered:
Hi, thank you! Yes, I cut 32 print 6″ x 6″ squares, and 32 solid colored 6″ x 6″ squares (approx. 1 yard cut into 5 strips 6″ x the fabric width, then subcut 7 squares from each strip). I used about 12 different print fabrics but pattern says you could use at least 8. I found the pattern free online here: https://cluckclucksew.com/2012/03/pink-classic.html#lightbox/1/ (copy and paste link) and just added 5 1/2" borders around. Finished size with borders is roughly 48" x 39" .
