I created this block one night on a whim and I loved it so much I just had to share it. This simple block was a lot of fun to make and the possibilities of color for each gem are endless! You can turn your blocks into a small wallhanging or a a full size quilt. The pattern comes with two different size blocks (6" and 8" finished) for you to choose from to create and use in any layout your heart desires. *Please note that this pattern does not include instructions on how to make a quilt top. Instructions on foundation paper piecing are not included in this pattern but there are many resources online. Visit my Pinterest page here to see a few resources I've pinned to help get you started: Enjoy and remember...a diamond is a girl's best friend! Hi! My name is Sarah! I'm an avid quilter and have been sewing since my foot could reach the pedal of my grandmother's machine. I've also worked at a quilt store in Sunnyvale, CA for the last 10 years of my life and loved every minute of it. Over the last couple of years, I've also discovered the wonderful online community of quilters on IG. I love to be inspired by so many imaginative and amazing people daily. When I'm not sewing, I double as a web and graphic designer. :) Some of my favorite things: the color orange, linen, shot cottons and chambrays, bright colored fabric, designing, any sort of crafting. My blog is currently undergoing a redesign so I haven't posted in a while, but you can visit me on Pinterest and Instagram here: Pinterest: IG: @sarahrose__ (that's two underscores!)
