Now available! Hooray! Foundation paper piecing is a great way to achieve crisp points without using templates and tends to yield more precise results than sewing with templates. And templates and I are not friends, so you won't find a single template in this new pattern! This jumbo sized (18" finished) foundation paper pieced single block quilt pattern features a quilt that has previously been seen in a past issue of Quilty. Three paper piecing templates are included with the pattern, as well as all of the cutting information so there's zero reverse engineering involved! You'll find a black and white line drawing of the block in the pattern that you can reproduce to your heart's content until you figure out the right fabric/color placement that makes you excited to start cutting! You'll also find detailed instructions, complete with photographs and full-color diagrams to assist you in your quilt making. Cutting and yardage information is provided for four quilt sizes: baby, lap, twin, and queen/king. If you make something using this pattern, please do share it with me! You can share it with me on Flickr in my Flickr group or on Instagram by tagging me (@dontcallmebetsy) or using the hashtag #dontcallmebetsy.
