Another fab BOM. I love all your BOMs, each for their very own reasons as I’ve learned so much from each of them. I’ve finished 2 so far: 2012 – the one that introduced me to quilting, never stopped since and the 2016 Jan-Jun, beautiful. I voted for the pink one but I may be influenced by having just made the blue 365 challenge :-). May I suggest for next year’s BOM to ask Edyta Sitar to design an applique quilt. I just love her quilts

Reply
Chris

Personally I would make it even brighter but A has a great contrast and should be wonderful.

Reply
Joyce Bouy

I love the colors in block C. Earthy and makes me feel good

Reply
Tinneke Vanden Plas

I prefer A or B, but I never made a top in purple, that’s why I choose the top A.

Reply
Pam

They are so pretty but am going to go with A. Its bold and has a great contrast. I really would like a BOTM with a Edyta Sitar design.

Reply
Martine

I love the Colors from the quilt C. Gorgeous!

Reply
Roslyn Heywood

C for me…like its gentle hues

Reply
Joleen

I like option A, thanks for letting us have input

Reply
Lori R.

Love B. It’s bright and soft.

Reply
Kathy Crist

A really hard decision. I love the colors in all 3, but I voted Clifton

Reply
Michelle Pearce

Really liked all 3 but because of the purple in A it just edged out the other 2

Reply
Esther Sommer-Heiniger

Alle sind sehr schön, aber ich liebe blau und lila in Block A.

Reply
Thérèse ROGER-COLIN

J’aime beaucoup ce quilt et ma préférence va vers le C.. Merci !

Reply
Julie Lester-George

Love A much better colour love the blue fabric
Regards Julie

Reply
Riet

Love all three colors but I did make a quilt in Jinny Beyer colors purple and aqua allready so I chose C

Reply
Anna M. Bucciarelli

Really hard to make a choice, I am torn between A and B but went with A because it just dances with vibrancy. The black boldly brings out the gorgeous hues of the other colors. I so want to make it!

Reply
Lana Unger

I love A but it is similar to other BOM that you did so I picked C to have something different yet still beautiful.

Reply
Sue Tremblay

I love A ,It is bold and the purple is beautiful and holds it’s own with the black! Can’t wait!

Reply
MKW

Very hard choice, they are all beautiful. I went with C but love them all!

Reply
Sybil Redden

It was a toss up between A & C, for me , but I choose C, mainly because it is a beautiful quilt suitable for any room. I think anyone would like this quilt, male or female even teenagers. Beautiful, comforting colours.

Reply
Karen C.

Love the bright bold colors of A.

Reply
Vicki

I love the colours of C

Reply
eva nay

eva m December 15th 2016 I love the colors in quilt B

Reply
Leigh

Now that is just not fair, I love all 3. Went with B as it is colors that are not in my stash. Looking forward to it.

Reply
Ann L.

I love them all but chose B because I like how the geométrics are visually sharper with the color palette. I’m a huge fan of purple and love the contrast in A but I think the black background would darken an average sized room. I can see it in a huge, airy space, though.

Reply
Frances M Nesbitt

I so agree with Ann L. The design in each block are highlighted with this palate so much better!

Reply
Mary

I like the colours of C

Reply
Kelly Wicklund

I love them all!!! AWESOME fabrics but ,C calls me home!

Reply
Lenie

I like C

Reply
Dee Joyce

I’m sure there are differences in each person’s computer… While I liked the contrast in A, I felt it too dark. C was too muted so I went with B. I LOVE bright and cheery colors! That’s the one I’d rather have wrapped around me. Perhaps if I saw the true colors, I might feel different!

Reply
Deb Anderson

I could not decide between A or C . I love them both. In the end I went with C. I would not be disappointed with either.

Reply
Sandy

Thank you for having free classes like this. They are fun, motivating and challenging. Happy New Year.

Reply
Wanda Erwin

I love the vibrancy of A, but love the earthy look of C even more, so it is C for me.

Reply
Susie Rose

Great color choices. Can we make all three? Eventually A won. Black makes the colors pop. Having king and queen sized beds in our home, I hope this is a larger sized quilt.

Reply
Grams

I am very partial to C but all are beautiful!

Reply
Donna Brinkmann

I prefer C because it is a soft blend of color and could go in any room. A is too monotone and B looks too pinkish.

Reply
De-De

I finally voted for C, because I’ve not made a quilt in that color set, but I would love any of the three. Why not produce them all? I’m thinking you would sell even more kits if you did!

Reply
liz n.

Oooh, good idea, De-De!

I also voted for C, but B is also beautiful.

Reply
Sue

block C is the one I would go with. A is nice but I find it hard to work with the dark colours.

Reply
Frieda I Pickett

This is my second Craftsy BOM. The first one helped me get perfect points. This one looks challenging and I’m sure I can learn from this experience, too. I selected B as it has the colors in my master bedroom and I could use the quilt there.

Reply
Dee Hill

Block C

Reply
Jan

I Love a contrast, that is why my choice is A.

Reply
Carolyn

Block A is OK but I would substitute the black background with a lighter color. I really like the combination of pinks and greens in Block B which is more suited to my decorating preferences. I would brighten the colors just a bit.

Reply
Susan Austin

C has the most “comfy, cozy” feel to me. Too much black in A for me personally. B is prettu but has an overall feminine feel. C appeals to anyone, I think, and easiest to match.

Reply
Susan Austin

I also like what someone else said – offer kit options. Offer the top two favorites and let quilters choose, first come/first serve. After all, the instructions would be the same. I know I would definitely not do A and prefer C, with B as a second choice.

Reply
Karen

I love the c which is the earth tones, also will match any home

Reply
Sandra

Either B or C. We have done 2 in black in the last year. C is my first choice!

Reply
Allison

Would love to do C for me and B for my sister (changing the pink to burgundy). Possible?

Reply
Judy

Loving the colors and layout on Project A. Its fun from time to time to step out of the box.

Reply
Marion Dean

I had to chose between A and C ,, C won my vote .. Love them all

Reply
Betty Drake

I love A but with eye problems I would not be able to work on all that dark fabric. So C is my pick. It would be great if Craftsy offered the kits in al three colors.

Reply
Cami

I love the blues in A but what about a lighter background than black?

Reply
Shelly K

I also like A but C is the one that I chose. love the earthy colors! Either would be great. I don’t like B.

Reply
Leigh

A is beautiful. Draws me in

Reply
Debbie Kanavel

I like A and B, but as other people have said, the A colors have already been used in previous BOMs. Why can’t we have the alternative to use the hues we want? Then everyone will be happy.

Reply
Donna Y

My favorite is “A”

Reply
Gwen M

My eyes went directly to C. Thanks for asking for our opinions.

Reply
Laura B

I definitely prefer A, but why not offer all three options?

Reply
Vicki S

C would be my choice since I love those colors. I seem to gravitate to blues and browns. A is striking too.

Reply
Linda

Love the colors in A but would enjoy C also.

Reply
LJ

While the sharp bold contrast of A first grabbed me from an artistic perspective, the peaceful earth, forest, water colors of C won the day. I know I could spend every month with those colors. I see this quilt going to the beach, on a picnic, or a weekend getaway. Beautiful and useful.

Reply
Jan McCoy

I, too, would like all 3 combinations to be made available for purchase.

Reply
Dottie

I love them all

Reply
Jana

All of them are just fabs, but I prefer A or B. And because in A I have one UFO at home, I vote for B 🙂

Reply
Romy

B is wonderful!

Reply
Kathy

Love both A and C. What about offering it in a couple of colorways?

Reply
Felicity

B is my favorite, but they are all quite gorgeous …. so many decisions!! Aren’t we lucky to have this offered to us …

Reply
Beverly Lynn

When can I order one of C? LOVE IT!!!

Reply
Debbie Henderson

I can’t decide between A and C. Some people love the colors in B too. Can’t you offer all 3? And I’d love to see the bright brights on the black as someone else said.

Reply
Lynrob

I pick A but would love it with a midnight / indigo blue background. Why can’t you have a BOM where we can opt to get the pattern but then choose our own fabric & colors.

Reply
Gladys Bacon-Rust

I was torn between A & B, thinking the colors in B better represent the Square Dance theme, but A is so striking that I had to choose it.

Reply
Michelle Soares

I really like the contrast in A so I voted for A but I have to say C looks so traditional that it was a hard choice. As a new quilter (just over a year) that traditional style is appealing. The contrast in A just looks more modern to me which I love also.

Reply
Debra

A is black like two previous BOM quilts. It is hard on the eyes to work with dark fabrics and not everyone likes purple. B is very pink. I vote for C for its central appeal. But I really like the idea of supplying the pattern and letting us pick our own fabrics–there aren’t so many in this one that doing that would be difficult. If can’t do that (know you want to be able to sell kits), give us option of color way to purchase.

Reply
Gayley

I liked all three, but chose A. An offer of all three would be nice?

Reply
Barbara Santopadre

I chose A, but I’m partial to purple. There is so much natural in the world, its nice to see color and I would never had put some of the colors together.

Reply
AprilLouise

All the color ways are very nice. Could Craftsy offer them all?

Reply
Dee T

I perfer B since it has about 30 years since I made that combination.

Reply
Valdine

Wow! Tough choice. Being a lover of black my eye is drawn to A, never having done a large quilt in pinks I like B but I had to choose C for the relaxing feel and because I like that all of the log cabin block stands out and not just half of it. You would not go wrong if you kitted the remaining two color options and sold them after the BOM was completed.

Reply
Mary

I like A and C. Looks like a fun quilt.

Reply
Michele

It was a hard decision between A or C. Ended up going with C because I love the softer earthy colours. I find it very soothing.

Reply
Anita Freeman

I like B. Such a soothing color scheme! It’s beautiful!

Reply
Michele Badders

The all have a great look. Having done a BOM recently with a black background, I decided to go with C. I agree with the other comments that is very soothing. B is nice, but not my personal favorite.

Reply
Mary W

A is simply stunning! Love it!

Reply
Cath

As large as Craftsy is, why do we have to choose one color way? Maybe if they offered them all, more people would decide to sign up. Good luck, Craftsy. I hope it’s a huge success.

Reply
Tricia

They are all beautiful!
Are there more than the 5 color swatches shown in the actual kit?
Thanks,

Reply
Sheri

I agree, would love to have a choice between the three (or maybe make all three!)

Reply
Bonnae

It is really hard to choose. They are all beautiful. I was drawn to A or C like many others. I ended up chosing A. Though it is dark, it is very vibrant and draws you in. I also like the suggestion of offering all three colors.

Reply
Arteria McCummings

I vote A. Beautiful contrast, and I love purple.

Reply
Cath

It’s nice to have some more masculine colours to choose from (I have sons!) so I am going with C

Reply
Mary

I could make a case for any color combo but ‘B’ has a real peaceful feel about it!

Reply
lc Fits

I love C not to light and not to dark. blues and green are my faviourite colours

Reply
Linda

Love A the contrast in colors and the black background makes all the colors pop out!

Reply
Kathy

I love as i like the colors & feel it would go with more in a bedroom.

Reply
Kathy

I love C as I feel it would go with more in a bedroom and also men would probably like it too.

Reply
Jean S

I could order more than one kit if given three choices. Otherwise I vote for B.
If possible I’d like to see this class include quilt as you go skills or techniques – something I’ve seen elsewhere. But I’m sure Craftsy could offer the best.

Reply
Brenda Perry

Think about how difficult it would be to see & sew all those little black triangles. Also we have already done a BOM quilt with black background. Even though “A” is the most beautiful color combination, I vote for “C.”

Reply
Jeff

I chose C because, being a male quilter, it was the most masculin of the 3. In the quilting world, men have to stray away from most kits as the colors are definitely feminine, which I understand with most quilters being women.

Reply
Janice H

Absolutely C! These are my type of colors, maybe because I raised boys ??.
I love the pattern; Count me IN!

Reply
MargeP

I love C – soothing but striking.

Reply
Kittst

They are all very pretty which makes it hard to choose, but this is a fall block of the month so I half to go with fall colors. C is my choice.

Reply
Carol Lindsay

I love the black and purple, but I have two grandsons leaving for university next fall. Think I need to go with C.

Reply
PUMKIN

OFFER ALL THREE. YOU WOULD SELL THEM ALL

Reply
Judy

I like B. To me the overall effect of A is too dark, mthough I like the individual colors.

Reply
Lori Matsui

I find A and C Dark and heavy looking so I chose B. I guess living in the cloudy northwest I’m always looking for things that bring light and cheer.

Reply
Blanche

I like the design. I C design looks great and the B design looks very good for a women’s room. A is too dark. I would probably do it in B the lighter colors.

Reply
Debbie Hornbuckle

They are all pretty, but A gets my vote. I love how the purple and turquoise pop on the black

Reply
Shirley R

I voted C because it remind me more of fall than A or B. So C it is for me!

Reply
Janet

I like A the best because it is bolder but they all are pretty.

Reply
Mary Ann Stassen

Would you make available non-batik options? I can see this one in reproductions or something bright. I don’t lean towards batik fabric, personally.

Reply
Joan

The colors in color group C really called to me. This quilt looks comfy and beautiful at the same time. I hope C is the winning option!

Reply
Michele R

I voted for B. The brightness of the off white gave the quilt nice contrast…a modern look in a traditional pattern. I’ve already made quite a few quilts in the A and C colors, so this would be different.

Reply
Karen Oakes

They are all beautiful. If I knew the yardage, I’m guessing I might have enough fabric in my stash to do both A & C. I’m looking forward to seeing the supply list and getting started!

Reply
Maria

If I have to choose, I would say A. C is also nice but I just don’t care for browns.

Reply
Mary Galea

I too love all three! I voted for C because I already have so much fabric/quilts in the other colourways, but would be very happy with any of them. This will be a definite purchase. Thank you!

Reply
Linda

I love them all, but C has my vote. Although, B was a close second for me,

Reply
Carole

Love the colors in A. But would be happy with any of them.

Reply
Dee K

I love that everyone has a favorite for different reasons. That’s what quilting is all about; working on something that speaks to you. I am not voting because I am a new quilter and don’t think I can do this pattern, YET!

Reply
Beth

I liked all 3 but I think I’m voting for B. I really liked A as well but it seems too blue for my taste. Maybe it is just my computer…

Reply
Julia

I chose B overall. I would choose A, if we could choose between a light or dark background! The black is too much for me! But I love the colors with the black!

Reply
marie Millershaski

I like all three but will have to say B caught my eye. i will take anyone you make the kits for. they are lovely

Reply
jeannie zimmerman

I love the colors of A. All three are beautiful, though.

Reply
Anna Likhomanova

I agree that C is earthy and calming. I like C.

Reply
Toni Haukom

I am voting for A because I love the boldness of the color. This would be the quilt for me however all three are pretty and I have two friends that I would make B for one and C for the other.

Reply
Deborah Carl

Since the techniques will be the same, could you make kits in all three colors and let us pick the one we want to do?

Reply
Sandi S.

Definitely C. It has somewhat of an ocean, beachy feel to me.

Reply
Karen Tanaka

A

Reply
Cindy

I love A because it gives a vibrant hue to the quilt. Anyone would love to receive this but I would find it difficult to give away.

Reply
Donna

C but like all three.

Reply
Carly

Loved the colors in B and C, but C’s colors won out.

Reply
Dawn

They are all three so lovely, hard to choose only one!
However, I am partial to blacks, so vote A and can not wait to give it a go ?. Thanks for another beautiful block of the month!

Reply
Sandy I.

C is my choice, love the stunning warm colours.

Reply
Suzi whiting/jarboe

Ilove all3 color palettes

Reply
Karyn MacKell

I chose A because I love the boldness of the black background and vibrant blues and purple. I have completed a similar one and it was for a wedding gift and very well received. They loved it.

Reply
Billie Tighe

Love the BRIGHT and VIBRANT colors of ( A )

Reply
Leslie

very, very hard to choose i love them all!! but went with
{ B } love the softness

Reply
Elizabeth Borowiak

I love the soft fall colors in B, so pretty!

Reply
Marcia

I need something light, bright and fresh in my life. That is why I chose B.
I love black backgrounds but I am ready for a change.

Reply
joanne C

I love purple but not every home will accomodate Quilt A. Pinks are not my favorite but Quilt B would be nice in a girl’s room. I picked Quilt C because of the earth tones. Nothing can compare to the beauty of nature and the colors of the mountains, forests, lakes and sky. And it will fit into most any home.
