Description

Materials Needed

Yarn: Cloudborn FIbers Highland Worsted (100% fine Highland wool, 3.5 oz/100 g = 221 yd/202 m), 1 skein each of contrasting colors (shown in Ecru and Scarlet). Each ornament takes 10 – 30 yd (9 – 27.5 m) per color; two full skeins will produce 6 – 10 ornaments, depending on patterning
Needles: US size 6 (4 mm) double-pointed needles or needles for working very small circumferences, or size needed to obtain gauge
Other: Fiberfill stuffing, waste yarn, spare needles for closing provisional cast-on, tapestry needle, crochet hook in US size F (3.75 mm) for provisional cast-on and chain
Gauge: 24 stitches x 25 1/2 rounds = 4" (10 cm) of steam-blocked stockinette stitch in the round
