Ultra Pima Rose Trellis Shawl Vest

This first photo is my daughter whom this was made for. I took photos of myself wearing it because she doesn't always provide me with photos after I send my creations to her! I LOVE the way this came out and I'm thinking of making one for myself... but she already requested a black one now that she has this one! I guess mine is on the back burner! LOL!

Q&A with PaperCraftLady

alydoremu10569498 asked:
Did you need more yarn than the kit came with?
PaperCraftLady answered:
Yes, I needed a little more, I think about 1/2 ball. I only made a size Medium. I think the kit should come with 5 balls instead of 4 because there were others that needed an extra ball. Did you as well?
mcnabbani16932652 asked:
Is there any way I can get this pattern? I just need the pattern I have the yarn I need
PaperCraftLady answered:
I no longer find it on Craftsy, but It is offered for free by the designer on Ravelry. You need to create a Ravelry account, if you don't already have one. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/rose-trellis-shawl-vest Enjoy!
Brusmama asked:
I have fought off and on almost a year with this project. I got it out of time out. I have been so confused about the yo on row 3,21, and 39. I looked on the internet for some answers and found the pattern on the cascade yarn site and It is written without mention of yo on those rows. It also says it is edited. Going to the frog pond on this and try the edited pattern. Wish I’d know this a long time ago. I bought the kit from Craftsy.
PaperCraftLady answered:
I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with that! It's been awhile since I knit it (actually knit 3 of them). I've looked at the pattern, and I would need you to be more specific with your question. There are several yo's in Rows 3, 21, and 39. Hang in there—it's a beautiful garment and so satisfying to complete!
