Throughstone Sweater

This sweater was my first cardigan and my first venture into stranded colorwork. The pattern was easy to follow with Bristol Ivy's expert instruction. I made my sweater at least one size too large, following the instructions to choose a size 6-8" larger than my bust size. If I had chosen one size over my actual measurement (instead of 2), I would have liked the fit better. I did a controlled shrink, dampening the sweater and putting it in the warm dryer, checking every 5 minutes. It took nearly an hour to get it a bit smaller, but I'm happier with how it fits now. The photo was taken after the shrinking.
