Q&A with pchambers

msesheta asked:
I love your colour choices! Can you tell us which colours you used?
pchambers answered:
Thanks! And I love how the sweater turned out. I highly recommend taking the Knit-Along Class because Bristol Ivy is a great instructor. The main color was Grey Heather and the contrasting colors were Petal, Magenta, and Charcoal Heather.
msesheta asked:
Thank you so much! I have wanted to try this and now I have a 50% coupon. I loved the look of yours more than the sample. Can I bother you to list the order you used them in? Is there a colour 1, 2, 3 etc after the main colour? I'm afraid I am not good at putting colours together. Shelley
pchambers answered:
Had to dig out my pattern to get the right numbers for the colors. I highly recommend you watch her class all the way through before you start if you've never done colorwork or a steeked sweater. I also recommend you make black & white copies of the color charts, set at the lightest setting. Then I used colored pencils to fill in the charts with my own color combinations. My handmade colored charts kept me straight on which color I was supposed to be using. MC (main color) was Grey Heather, CC1 (contrast color 1) was Magenta, CC2 was Petal and CC3 was Charcoal Heather. Good luck!
