Sock Monkey Booties

What are you most proud of? I'm not an overly experienced knitter, so I'm pretty pleased at how these turned out. They stitch up fairly quickly. What advice would you give someone starting this project? If I were to do these again, I think I might add the ears and eyes on before the cuff, or before you sew up the back. I found it awkward to do so after it was all sewn up.
