Picar Scarf

If you have some experience this scarf is a lot easier than it looks and even though you are using fingering yarn (when I saw the pattern I thought," I'll be knitting this for a couple of years") it moves right along. I made the larger size. My daughter is tall and can easily wear this and not look swamped. Counting is a must with this pattern, use markers. I've never started a pattern with only 5 stitches and I swore it couldn't be right. I re-read the pattern several times. I just finally cast on and went for it. It's really cool how this progresses. The yarn suggested for this project feels lovely when worked up. I ended up with just a small ball of yarn. Same for a friend who made it also.
