My first 'real' socks

What are you most proud of? well of every step I managed to accomplish to finish my very first traditional cuff-down socks : knitted with tiny dpns, with a real heel flap, knit-up stitches and a grafted toe, and in multiple colors with a nearly invisible jog at the color-change-rows, and zig-zag sewn-in all the tails What advice would you give someone starting this project? if you never knitted on dpns before like me, do take the time to make a good swatch knit in the round : my 2nd sock came out at a slightly tighter gauge than the 1st and even seems slightly shorter (see the right foot on the picture) I'll block and wear my first 'real' pair anyway to see what I need to change for the next pair I'll be tackling very soon with real sock yarn this time ;)

I'm happy I ordered that class. Can't wait to try. I'm hard at work knitting my first sweater for my granddaughter from a pattern. I guess I should have watched the Craftsy sweater class I have, but so far so good. I'm at the sleeves. Wish me luck!
cnkt answered:
Good luck indeed :) I simply love Craftsy classes. Great instructors, like Lucy Neatby ;) and I can watch again and again how it is done. I really learned a lot here :D Happy knitting :D
Fancyface asked:
Pretty, love the colors
cnkt answered:
Thank you :D my mother actually laughed out loud when I showed her the picture as she used to knit only very straightforward green and dark blue socks quite a while ago ;) I think they look funny and I love my colors too :D
m.elidris8372684 asked:
