Project

Mocha Beanie

Not one of the class patterns, but another of the instructor's brilliant 2 color brioche patterns called Autumn Vibes. Her way of explaining the complicated-looking (and usually complicated sounding, from other sources) brioche increases & decreases make the technique surprisingly approachable, possibly even for an intermediate level knitter in this case. I love her color-dipped styling and the bold contrasts, which -- combined with the soft squishiness of brioche -- were perfect to show off my yummy 100% alpaca neutrals. I actually used Addi Natura 16" circs for the body, and Knitter's Pride Nova Cubics 47" circs for the magic loop technique on the crown, but the Clover bamboo circs I added to the resource list would work fine, too. (And I haven't used the Soak yet for blocking, but I will...)
