Project

Half Magic Number Argyle Scarf

What are you most proud of? Getting the rib pattern right! The colors were easy once I figured out which way they were running. The rib however needed lots of re-do's. What advice would you give someone starting this project? The location of the new color appearance is the same on both sides! For this pattern, a new color needed to start 2 - 4 stitches to the right of its appearance 2 rows below. Once you turn your work the previous row is leaning to the left, so you need to lean to the right again. This was much easier once I figured that out. Also the leaning K2P2 rib breaks up the color lines beautifully, fuzzing the edges and making everything look much more lined up than it actually is.
