First Toe-Up Socks!!

I used Kroy self striping sock yarn, and I really love the results. The key to getting the socks to match is to wind two balls from two purchased skeins, making sure to start the center-pull balls at exactly the same point in the color-sequence of the yarn. I also knitted the two socks simultaneously on one circular needle to assure that my tension/gauge would not be different from one sock to the other, which also helps in keeping the colors identical as I moved up. I was amazed at how well this worked. I love the toe-up approach because I could fit the socks as I went along, and also I was sure I would not run out of yarn. These are the first socks I've made, and I am quite pleased with the finished product and ready to do more. I loved this class!! Veronica
