Shepherd’s Wool Worsted is a light worsted weight yarn and actually closer to a DK weight. Please be sure to check your gauge before casting on the hat to achieve the best fit. Gauge: 18 sts x 28 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch Needles: 16” and 40” US 8 / 5mm circular needle for Magic Loop method or US 8 / 5mm double pointed needles, whichever method you prefer for knitting in the round (or size needed to obtain correct gauge).
