White Cockatoo Scarf is beautiful and unique accessory for any wardrobe. It turns you outfit into fancy stylish look as well as keep you warm and cosy. The scarf is knitted with a fancy check pattern back and forth on needles. The pattern is written for one size. It is easy to follow and suitable for intermediate knitters. The pattern has written instructions and step-by-step photo tutorial. FINISHED MEASUREMENTS (one size): - Scarf length approximately (excluding fringe): 152 cm/ 60 inches - Scarf width: 25 cm/ 10 inches TOOLS AND MATERIALS: - 6 x 50 g Merino extra fine wool in white colour, small amount of black and yellow yarn - Knitting needles size US 4 (3.5 mm) - Double pointed needles size US 3 (3.25 mm) - Stitch marker - 2 x Stitch holders - Knitter’s needle - Crochet hook 3 mm - 2 x 6 mm black beads or buttons for parrot eyes - Strong metal crocodile or magnet clip WEIGHT OF YARN: DK/ 8-ply GAUGE: 21 stitches and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch using needle size US 4 (3.5 mm) BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit, purl, cast on, binf off, k2tog, p2tog SUGGESTED YARN 700 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Drops COLORWAY white
