This ruffled shrug is a great garment for babies and little girls. (I've even had requests to size this up for moms, too!) I knit one for each of my daughters, and find that it's a great way to make their outfits look cohesive, without being overly matchy-matchy for outings and photos. The best thing about this shrug...they can't figure out how to take it off, so it stays ON! The BABY size range of the pattern was originally published in Interweave Knits Weekend, September 2009. Instructions for the BABY sizes have been slightly modified in this version of the pattern. This pattern has also been resized up to a 14.25? cross-back measurement. Five new CHLD sizes have been added. Instructions for CHILD sizes follow the instructions for BABY sizes, and begin on page 4.
