Pattern Details

Quatrefoil motifs are common in decorative iron and metal pieces. Here I've created a quatrefoil motif perfect for beginners to stranded knitting; in only one instance (working across the thumb gusset) do you ever carry a strand more than 1". Have fun playing with the colorways: you can work these in a more subtle colorway, such as shown, or in a bolder colorway, such as the coral and espresso of the full mitts version. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knitting in the round, stranded knitting, provisional cast on, sewn hem, chart reading. GAUGE 32 sts and 44 rounds = 4in /10cm in stranded stockinette stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS S/M (M/L), to fit hand circumference 7.5(8.5)in / 19 (21.5)cm Hand circumference 8 (9)in / 20.5 (23)cm
