Tired of always looking for mittens that match? Have baskets full of scrap yarn that you'd love to use up? These mittens solve it all. Easy-to-knit, as colourful as you want them, and each one unique. Make a bunch in the sizes you need, toss them into a basket and grab any two. You're ready to roll! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Cast on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, cast-off. Able to knit on double pointed needles. GAUGE 4.5 stitches per inch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Sizes: Infant, (Toddler, Child, Youth / Adult Medium, Adult Large) Finished Measurements: Measure the width around the palm of the hand. The length can be adjusted during knitting by adding to the length of the hand after the thumb stitches are put on a holder. To fit palms sizes: 5"( 5 1/2", 6", 7", 8"). SUGGESTED YARN 175 yards of Worsted weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Any! COLORWAY The more the merrier

  • 75( 100, 125, 150, 175) yds of worsted weight yarn. Scraps work beautifully! We used leftovers of Peace Fleece wool. Make each mitten different, place them in a basket, and never worry about finding matching mittens! Set of 4 double pointed needles in a size which gives you the gauge. We used size 7. Check your gauge! For unribbed mitten cuff you will need a set of 4 double pointed needles two sizes smaller than what you used to get gauge. Stitch marker, stitch holder, tapestry needle.
