This project is knit flat back and forth on US size 9 circular knitting needles...or needle size that works best with your yarn and knitting tension. Long circular needles are recommended to hold the large number of stitches. Blocking of finished knitting is recommended. This pattern is written in standard U.S. knitting terms. Fifty Four Ten Studio
I have been knitting since I was about 8 years old. My mother taught me to knit and my parents encouraged me to explore all kinds of arts & crafts activities by providing me with the materials that I needed to create. As a girl, I loved to sew (I spent hours using my mother’s sewing machine making clothes for my dolls), knit, draw and paint. In high school I spent all my extra time at school hanging out in the art room. In college I worked at a cute little yarn shop. Many years later...I started designing and publishing knitting patterns in November 2013...I love it! I love giving hand knit gifts to my friends and family. I love to see the smile on their faces when they open the gift I made for them. I hope that you enjoy using my knitting patterns to create special projects for your home, friends & family.
