Pattern Details

Moscato is a sweet, simple-looking pullover with some fun tailored touches. The wide neckline is slightly draped, and the hem of the sweater, sleeves, and shoulders are all trimmed with fun button accents. Simple Garter Stitch trims the edges of this pullover, tabbed on the front and sleeves to show off your favorite buttons and add some interest to the classic shape. It is knit in pieces from the bottom up and then seamed. The button tabs on the sleeves and front hem are created by casting on two pieces separately, and then joining them in the Stockinette portion. Sweet Georgia’s Merino Silk Fine is an incredible yarn with a soft hand, a slight sheen, and a fluid drape. It’s just the right choice for such a special sweater. Should you choose to substitute yarn, you should pick something equally fluid to ensure the neckline folds appropriately. You’ll need approximately 735 (832, 891, 977, 1060, 1153, 1226, 1325, 1423, 1529, 1637, 1804) yds/672 (760, 814, 892, 968, 1053, 1120, 1210, 1300, 1396, 1495, 1647) m.
