The shape of this hat is reminiscent of French cloche. Worked in the round from brim to crown it begins with rolled edge to reinforce the relaxed look of a cloche. A tall brim worked in rib provides functionality to the hat and helps to transition to a beautiful, but simple, slip stitch called Waffles. The Rich texture of this stitch pattern is a statement on its own. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Must know how to knit and purl, work in there round, and decrease.
