Pattern Details

Here’s a luxuriant crescent in three sizes (petite/medium/tall) with a gorgeous secret—it reverses completely to show a different but equally pretty hem pattern on each side. Despite its lightness and beauty, will be a year-round wardrobe workhorse, wrapping you in warmth on the coldest of days or providing a whispery layer on a midsummer evening. Knit in an exotic fiber blend for decadent drape and softness, this is a fun to work, quick-knitting project that travels well and makes a lovely gift—one you’ll love to knit two times! Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape. Finished Size: 75(84, 96) inches around hem edge and 11(13.5, 16) inches long at center back (blocked) Gauge: 22 sts and 48 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch (knit every row) on smaller needles (unblocked)

I am the owner of Knitspot - knitting patterns, clubs, and artisan yarns. I am a life-long knitter with a background in the fashion and graphic design fields, and began designing clothing, knitwear and accessories during the 1970s. I teach and write about knitting, spinning, and designing at my blog, Knitspot. I live and work in Ohio with David, who loves wool, too. My design work/profile has been included in Knitty, The Knitter, Interweave Knits, and Twist Collective, Sock Club, Brave New Knits, as well as several upcoming publications. The complete catalog of Knitspot patterns is available for browsing and purchasing at http://www.knitspot.com/knitting_pattern/index.php Knitspot yarn clubs are reknowned for perfect pairings of luxury yarn and design, as well as the rollicking good fun in our Ravelry clubhouse where members meet, chat, and knit through club projects together. http://www.knitspot.com/clubs/index.html Our Bare Naked yarns are as close to the farm as a knitter can get, using fresh fiber produce from regional growers which is then spun into yarn at smaller artisan mills with which I have worked over the years. The collection is focused on single-breed pure wool yarns and exotic blends, with colors that range an entire array of natural tones—yarn the way nature made it. http://knitspot.com/knitting_pattern/yarn-c-21.html
