A flattering style on almost any body type, this cardigan will be a must in your wardrobe this fall. Similar to the widely popular Opening Night this cardigan has a lot of swing and drape in the front all while the back is a nice tailored fit. Knit in pieces then seamed together in a way that allows the front collar trim and the bottom trim to drape at the hips and not add unnecessary fabric to the back side. The fun scroll pattern used in the trims is reversible so there are no worries about showing the "wrong side". The yarn used in this piece is a worsted weight, kettle dyed yarn called Red Rocks Fiber Works, "Highlands" (100% Superwash Merino; color Red Lipstick). This yarn is not available anymore but is easily substitutable. I would recommend a yarn that has a twist like Malabrigo Rios.
